Detailed Description
Target:
Try to find the addition operands from 1 to 9 considering its results given at the end of each row and column. The time for easy question form is 2 min and for difficult one is 4 min. An easy question form is the one which contains (near) minimum or (near) maximum numbers within its set of results. For example, the form which contains one or more results of 6-8 or 22-24 is considered an easy form. Because there is only one set of three numbers between 1 and 9 whose addition amounts to 6 and those are 1, 2 and 3. The same is true for 7 (1, 2 and 4). The result of 8 can be composed of two sets (1, 3 and 4) and (1, 2 and 5) but it is still relatively easy. On the maximum side (22-24) the situation is similar. Therefore, the difficult question form is considered to be the one which contains result set of 9-21.
The reward for solving difficult question form (in this version) is additional scores and shareable screenshot of the game with achieved medal and laurel wreath. However, there is a condition for adding scores and it is to not have 3 or more wrong moves. Hence, if the play went with zero wrong moves, the achieved score is doubled. If there was 1 wrong move, two thirds of the achieved score is added to the resulting score while one third is added in case of 2 wrong moves.
Rules for the correct answers:
- Each of the first three correct answers will add 20 points to the score,
- Each of the second three ones will add 10 points,
- While the third three will add 5 points each.
Rules for the incorrect answers:
- The first incorrect answer is ignored,
- The second one and all further consecutive ones will increase by 10 and then the sum will be subtracted from the current score.
- This rule resets at the next correct answer.
